Like many who first come to yoga, Tina went to her first class because she heard it was fun and a great workout. And those things are true! But after practicing for a while, she realized that yoga was so much more than that. Yoga has taught her compassion, how to act with grace under pressure, and that even when we think we can’t, we can do hard things.
Tina works as an ecologist in our beautiful province’s protected areas. She has a hobby vegetable farm and pet chickens, and spends her spare time hiking, camping, bird watching, and snowshoeing. She lives on the West Coast of the Island and is a guest teacher at MYSJ whenever life brings her to St. John’s.
