“Let the beauty we love be what we do.” – Rumi
As a lifelong daydreamer and born procrastinator, Erica always thought she’d like to practice yoga, but it remained on her to-do list for a long time before she got around to trying it! After sporadically attending classes around St. John’s for a few years, she finally found Jill’s Moksha-Inspired classes and it was love at first sweat! She soon found herself practicing daily and volunteering with the Energy Exchange program when MYSJ opened in 2012. Erica has been teaching full-time and passionately since completing the Moksha Yoga Teacher Training in Los Angeles in 2013. She has also studied Yin Yoga with Bernie Clark, and is certified in Moksha Flow, Prenatal Yoga, and Yogassage.
An intuitive and compassionate teacher, Erica’s intention for her students is simply to leave the hot room feeling a little better than when they come in. She promises to bring a little humour, lots of authenticity, and plenty of detailed alignment cues to each class.
Erica is a devoted, life-long student of yoga, a bookworm, a lover of nature and animals, a musician, an amateur chef, a recovering perfectionist, and an aspiring gardener. She is so grateful to the Moksha sangha for all your love, support, and teachings.
Erica is taking a break from teaching this summer and fall to focus on her latest challenge – motherhood!
